The efficacity of formula BARDAHL is its triple action against wear, the reduction of frictions and the deposits.
This formula creates a thick layer of product lubricating on surface to protect.
The polar molecules form one second line of defence against wear while they reduce frictions and the deposits.
Moreover, Bardahl introduced of C60 Fullerene into the formula: the molecules of fullerene act as of the spherical microphone-cushions which bring the mechanism of final protection. | |

BARDAHL AND THE FULLERENE

Only two crystalline phases of carbon were known at the XX century end.
With the development of research in radio astronomy, researchers discovered in the interstellar space of the molecules whose spectra were unknown. It was supposed that these molecules were formed by red stars with carbon.
It is later, in 1985, than two researchers, Harold Kroto and Richard Smalley manage to synthesize these molecules made up of 60 carbon atoms: C60 or fullerene.
This C60 structure is exceptional, it has the property to form a closed regular cage perfectly spherical. 10 times more solid than steel and 6 times lighter, the molecules of C60 have exceptional lubricating properties. Indeed, the molecules act as would do it extremely resistant "nano-bearings".
The function "nano-bearing" brings to oils exceptional characteristics as regards:
- Protection against usury,
- Resistance to external loads,
- Improvement of the sliding between metal surfaces,
- Protection against corrosion and rust,
- Decrease of the operating temperatures.
